Matthew was selected for the Hobey Baker for his love of the game, and his desire to lead by example. Matthew’s character and sportsmanship has been sensational for all 4 years he has played, and he goes out of his way to treat others with immense respect. I believe he exemplifies every character of the Hobey Baker Award, and he is a great role model for our younger players to learn from.
