As a 3 year varsity player for the Hall Titans, Charles has been the embodiment of a lead by example player. He has had a strong Defensive presence on the ice as a top defenseman in all of his three years with the team.He was asked to anchor a very young and inexperience blue line this year and has done a very in impressive job . His strong on ice presence combined with his soft spoken personality has made him a player in the locker room that his teammates respect and will listen to when he speaks. His talent on the ice and drive combined with his presence and leadership in the locker room led to him to be named captain this season, where he has continued to flourish as a role model for a young team. Nearly every practice Charles can be found on the ice with one of the younger players talking to them trying to teach, and grow them as players. While has shown a strong dedication to hockey he has not let it come at the cost of his school work. Despite the demands of playing varsity hockey Charles continues to maintain a high GPA all 3 years.
