Owen is a four year varsity letter winner. While he is a student in the Ocean School District, he attends the Maritime Academy of Science and Technology, where discipline and leadership are core values. Owen served as an alternate captain as a junior and as captain for his senior year. His ability to communicate with the coaching staff and the players is excellent. He is not afraid to bring his opinion to the coaches and to stand up for his teammates. I am proud to nominate Owen for this award.
