This athlete was selected due to his leadership on and off the ice, along with his illustrious defensive abilities. Not only could he skate, move the puck, and play the game at an advanced level, but he commanded his team with pride. Unfortunately, Jack’s team fell to the raining state runner-up team this year, but not before he led them to a thriller of an overtime battle after being down 4-0 with 15 minutes left in the third period.

I’ve seen many players at the high school level, but non who meet the superior level of Jacks hockey abilities and leadership.
