This athlete was selected because he presents the character worthy of being a Hobey Baker finalist. Danny is a senior, assistant captain on the Varsity team this year, and his work on and off the ice has been exemplary. Off the ice, Danny spearheaded and organized a fundraiser for the Logan’s Foundation for Childhood Cancer on January 3rd at the International Skating Center of CT in Simsbury. This fundraiser raised more than $1000 for the foundation. Danny also is an effective communicator with both the players and coaches, and has been a strong source of leadership for us throughout the season.
