Brendan is a Senior and has been part of our varsity team for all 4 years of high school. Over the last 2 years he has split the games played with a younger goaltender due to them being of equal ability/effectiveness. He has taken on this role/challenge/duty with a positive, team first attitude.
Brendan has really become one of our leaders in the locker room. He has a great feel for what needs to be said and when. He has helped our younger players both on and off the ice.
Brendan also seems to know a player or 2 on most of the teams we play, and it’s evident how well liked he is. He is able to be extremely competitive during a game and yet be a friend afterwards. Not everyone is able to strike this balance, and it’s important for other players on our team to witness how he handles that situation.
