Matthew is a 3rd year senior, and a second year captain.  Matthew’s first year he did not see a lot of ice time, but only after a couple weeks, the coaching staff knew he would be a leader.  Matthew was always there to carry extra gear off the bus, to help other players when needed without asking, showing up early to do extra work, staying late to make sure things were taken care of.  From day one, Matthew has always put the team and everything else before him.  Matthew also gets it done in the classroom with a current 3.7 GPA.  Matthew has volunteered for several community projects in his three years.  Matthew is also highly respected by his teammates, as he was voted unanimously to wear the
