Matthew had a challenging year, last year.  This year Matt accepted a position with our D2 team as a senior and was the perfect teammate and role model.  He is one of our best players and not once ridiculed or made a lesser skilled player feel bad.  Matt played both offense and defense and did everything that was asked of him by his coaches.  He always told  his coaches when he is going to be late or miss time with the reasoning behind it.  He never has to be asked or told anything more than once.  Most importantly, Matt’s grades are very strong and he has a part time job as well working at the local movie theater.  There is nobody more deserving of this award on our team.
