I believe that Christopher Bergamesca meets and exceeds all of the criteria to be honored by the Hobey Baker High School Character Award .
Integrity and Positive Attitude : Christopher provides a 110% honest effort  to his game and as our captain in the locker room . He leads by example , is always positive and supplies encouragement to each and every teammate .  There are no excuses in his game and he takes responsibility for his actions . When things get tough in our games , he is capable of taking our team on his back and leading our team both in attitude and with his outstanding play . Christopher has never violated our code of conduct and made a strong commitment to improving himself as a player and a person over the past 4 years of his high school career .
Coachability : Christopher leads by example with his tremendous work ethic . This example provides the coaching staff with a model of consistency which is instructive to the rest of the team.
He has assisted in organizing our players in the off-season . Also, he often leads strategic discussions in our locker room . During our games
