Victoria (Tory) had stopped playing hockey for several years due to a heavy academic load and participation in a high level soccer program.  She had never lost her Love for hockey and was a frequent spectator at all of our High School games.  She came back to her true love of Hockey in her Sophmore Year, and played on our Junior Varsity Team she quickly became one of the leaders on that team due to her Constant Hard Work and willingness to do whatever the team needed.  Even when she was targeted by Bigger Stronger Males on other teams she refused to allow her teammates to intervene and would just get back up and get back into the play.  She has since moved on to our Varsity program, and has earned herself several goals and assists over the past two years.  To see the pure happiness when she scores or sets a teammate up for an assist is to know what the Joy of Hockey is all about.   She always has her teammates back when they are having a bad game or just need some help getting ready for a test.  I know she would Love to hear this because She always talks to me when I am coaching in practice and during the games but all the Players, Coaches and Without a doubt Me  will miss having her on our team.
