Emily has been the consummate team player both on and off the ice.  Her team first attitude is infectious.  As a  junior captain, she leads by example especially at practice where she works hard in every drill.  Younger players take notice and work even harder themselves as a result of her example.

In the classroom, Emily is an excellent student after receiving 1st honors with distinction this quarter and maintaining a first semester average above 95.  She is on an honor’s and AP track at La Salle and has been on the honor roll her entire academic career.

Emily embodies all of the qualities that Hobey Baker is known for especially integrity, teamwork, and sportsmanship.  She is a most deserving candidate for this award.
