As a new coach this year with our program, I came in with little interaction with the returning team. As i began to work with the players, Jon quickly separated himself from the group demonstrating his ability to lead his teammates. He lead in a way this season that was genuine and honest. Which made it easy for the team to trust in him, follow his example and work to meet the standard.
