Mackenzie is a 4-year student athlete who started as a freshman on the JV team with limited hockey experience. She quickly grew as a player and by her junior year made the Varsity team. Mackenzie has shown her character by exhibiting all of the attributes for which this award created, including positive attitude, outstanding sportsmanship, excellent work ethic, unselfish team player, coachability, great role model and exemplary citizenship.
