Shane has played High School Hockey for 3 years and has participated in the Florida Panthers Scholastic Hockey League Leadership Academy where he has learned the skills of leadership. During his senior year, Shane has applied these skills on and off the ice and is a respected leader of the team. Shane leads by example and has excelled in school by maintianing over a 3.5 unweighted GPA. Shane has demonstrated all of the characteristics associated with the Hobey Baker award; coachability, strength of
character, integrity, commitment, teamwork, community building, and outstanding sportsmanship especially during this unprecedented time of Covid 19.
