Gordie has been a part of B-CC Hockey Club for 4 years. He started on JV and with hard work and determination he moved onto the Varsity team. I have watched him grow as a team player and a young man. It did not matter which team he was on, he was always dedicated to leading the team with hardwork and sportmanship. Gordie is very coachable and his team members look to him for advice and leadership. He always has a positive attitude and works for the better of the whole team. Gordie has been willing to try different positions when needed. He doesn’t complain and he takes on any challenges that are presented. When the team was unable to gather for Spring League, due to covid restrictions, he helped organize weekly zoom workouts. The whole team benefited emotionally and physically from these virtual gatherings during a very difficult time. He was determined to find a way to keep the team together and also to welcome the upcoming class into our hockey family.
Gordie has helped lead our team this season. He was named an Alternate Captain and has always worked closely with the Captain to lead B-CC Hockey.
It has been a pleasure watching Gordie develop into a very responsible and passionate young man.
