Alexis is an outstanding example of character and leadership both on and off the ice. A late starter to hockey she has continued to work to improve year after year. Battling through injuries, she has maintained a positive, and give all attitude. Her confidence has grown year after year to become a leader by example of hard work and determination. And even producing those valuable points when necessary.

I couldn’t think of a more deserving and qualified player than her for the Character counts award.
