Keegan exemplifies the hockey values of character, leadership, effort, and skill. He has been a Captain at every age level and set a terrific example for his peers and younger players through his every day dedication to making himself the best player he could through hard work and great attitude. Keegan brought leadership to the locker room as well as the ice, and set a tone where players were expected to strive for greatness while respecting their opponents and the game. He has always demonstrated sportsmanship in both words and action, and never took a shift off. A hard-nosed player who supported his teammates, Keegan could always be counted on to make the right decision both on the ice and off, and earned the respect of teammates and coaches.
