When I started coaching this team for the 2019 season, Zach’s ability to lead was very evident. He shows up to practice and games with the hardworking mentality that feeds into the other players. The respect the players on the team have for Zach when he speaks in the locker room and on the ice, says a lot about who he is as a player and an individual. He is very much deserving of this award, and will do great things in his future.
