During his tenure with the program, Danny plays as both a defenseman and forward, who challenged himself to make the most out of any playing opportunities he received. More importantly, Danny stepped up as a natural leader and mentor for the younger players. Danny did not wear a captain’s letter, but was always perceived by the rest of the team as one of our core role-models. Even though Danny was a supporting player, he would usually match up against tougher lines because of his compete level on the forecheck and in the defensive zone. Danny recognized at beginning of the season that his playing time would decrease, yet was willing to do whatever it took to give our team the best opportunity at winning.
