Matt is a leader on and off the ice. A scholar athlete, he consistently shares his time with others as a tutor and as an active member of his school’s Peer Natural Helpers group. A four-year member of his high school hockey program, Matt represents his team with class. He coaches in a local mite development program every Saturday morning. Over two seasons, Matt has also led a team initiative that raises funds to support a foundation formed after the passing of a local youth hockey player.
