Joe Cavanaro has excelled in all aspects of student life at Cohasset High School.  He is a 3 sport athlete who carries a 4.4 GPA while also participating in the Concert and Jazz Bands, Peer Leadership Club, Debate Team, Math Team, and National Honor Society.  He has been awarded the AP Scholar with Honors Award, Dartmouth College Book Award, Sir Isaac Newton Award for Achievement in Mathematics, and John and Abigail Adams Scholar Award.  Outside of school, Joe Cavanaro is active in his church’s Youth Ministry and volunteers for mission work across the country.  He embodies the strength of character and integrity that serve as the basis for this award and is the consummate teammate.  His selfless dedication and commitment makes his team better, his school better, and the town of Cohasset better.
