Lakeshore/ St Joseph’s nomination for the 21-22 Hobey Baker Award goes to Tyler Ferrell. Tyler has excelled on the ice during the 21-22 season as well as striving for excellence within the classroom. Tyler is a senior at South Haven Public Schools (MI) and currently holds an astonishing 4.27 GPA. Within the scope of Hockey, he is a solid two way player that is not particularly the flashiest player on the ice but excels because of his high expectations to consistently deliver a performance that includes hard work, determination and dedication to the team game. Tyler finished 2nd on our team in scoring with 16 goals and 12 assists, for a total of 28 points in 37 games played. He assures that he mentors the underclassman in the program to nurture their success and has shown great leadership qualities on and off the ice. He has proven his dedication to his personal success and to the team every single day over the last 3 years as an LSJ Warrior.
