Owen is a Senior Captain who displayed excellent leadership qualities. He was one of our leading scorers, killed penalties as a forward and defenseman, and consistently led by example. Owen is a tough player to play against, being string and physical. When the game ended, Owen accepted the outcome. He showed class and grace, and all our underclassmen followed his lead. He never had an excuse, either things went well, or next time he’ll try harder to make it go well. Owen is a perfect candidate for this award.
