Brian O’Callaghan has been a 4 year starter and 2 year captain on a team with limited skill throughout the roster. What we have asked him to do is almost unfair , however we only did this because of his character. Brian has been known throughout the patriot league as Quincy Highs stud and is targeted game in and game out , often being hooked , slashed and on the receiving end of many cheap shots and unnecessary verbal abuse. He finishes every season with high 20s or low 30s for points despite all of this. He’s big , skilled and known in his high school as OC , the nicest young man in the building , voted by his peers and teachers while achieving a 3.1 GPA. This young man is already being sought after by JR teams , knowing that he’s going to be a very good college player. If you knew his family , then you’d know why he is the young man he is. As his coach , he’s our leader , and a perfect role model for our young players , making him a coaches dream.
