McKenna is a student/athlete who has participated in Girls Hockey for many years.  With her High School team, she has played multiple positions, without any question.  Always a hard worker, she continually works to improve.  But, above all, She has played many of her seasons with an illness that was difficult to diagnose.  Even if she wasn’t feeling well, she rarely let her condition slow her down.  She has fought a great fight, and her dedication and desire has rubbed off on her team mates.  This season, her Senior season, she stepped up and went from being a successful forward to becoming a defenseman.  She fully embraced that position and proved to be one of our top players.  Unfortunately, her season was cut short because of her illness.  She was forced to follow Dr’s. orders and step away from a game she loves.
