MJ has overcome many obstacles to be a member of the varsity hockey team; although his playing time is limited, he is a leader both on and off the ice.  The members of the hockey team listen when he speaks but more importantly follow by his examples of hard work, commitment, sacrifice, sportsmanship and respect of teammates, opponents, and officials.
