He has been a commander for this team for the last 3 seasons.  His hard work, dedication, and team work has earned him the respect from his teammates, parents and coaches.  Mathieu has been a leader since he has stepped on the ice doing what his coaches expect and more important leading and coaching the other players from the off-season to when we step on the ice.  He studies the game and understands his role he needs to play.  He was captain of the Royal Oak Ravens HS Hockey Team from 2013-205.  

Academics has always been the most important part of his high school years and he is top of his class.  He is not share to help out in the community with charities, youth hockey teams, or even helping a neighbor when needed.  

Mathieu has demonstrated time and time again he is not only one of the top players in Royal Oak history he is just fun to be around and liked by all.
