Mae is in her third year with the high school team. Mae is a goalie and with an All State Goalie playing for our team during Mae’s sophomore and junior season’s Mae saw very little game time. However she never let that limited playing time adversely impact her positive and team ALWAYS FIRST attitude. She never missed a practice the entire time she served as our back up and always was the first to compliment our starting goalie and to encourage her when times were .tough. This year she is one of our captains and is an absolute great leader always putting the needs of team in front of her personal needs. An example of her unselfishness happened this year when a new player to our team was shorted a warm up jacket and was without this piece of clothing. To make her feel more a part of our team, Mae literally took her jacket off and gave it to her stating she could get one later when we ordered them!
