To Whom It May Concern,

I am writing this Letter of Recommendation no behalf of Shawn Palidore. I have known and coached Shawn for over ten years and I have grown to know Shawn very well. As a person and student-athlete, Shawn leads by example. He has an excellent work ethic and tremendous leadership skill, so much so, he was named Captain of the team this past season. Shawn is one of those players that continually strives to be his best and pushes everyone else around him to do the same. Simply stated, Shawn is a winner.

Shawn also possesses excellent communication skill both with the coaches and his teammates. He is loyal, honest and trustworthy. Rustin’s Ice Hockey foundation was built on Heart, Character and Discipline, three building blocks that Shawn continually and consistently demonstrate. Shawn is very personable and well liked and always demonstrates a positive attitude. I believe Shawn’s greatest strength is his maturity and his ability to overcome adversity. These qualities are rare in today’s world.

In closing, I give Shawn my highest recommendation. He will be a valuable asset to any Institution and an exemplary representative of that Institution. If you would like to discuss Shawn further, please do not hesitate to contact me. It was a pleasure to coach him.
