Vanessa is one of the most positive players we have had on the team.  She always has a smile on her face, she always works hard and will try to do what she is asked to do.  I have known Vanessa for many years and watched her both in H.S. hockey and her club team and she has come a long way.  Vanessa’s is a player who loves the game of hockey and wants to be better she has worked on her game and has made vast improvements.  Vanessa brings a smile to the team and coaches with her gutsy play and her mouse like voice.  She always has a smile on her face and always does what it take for her team.  The coaches of Storm Hockey unanimously nominates Vanessa for the Hobey Baker award for the 2014 season.
