Brandon Poillucci is a senior at North Attleboro High School.  He is one of the hardest workers on the team.  He’s also a team leader.  He is a quiet kid but he lets his hard work do most of his talking.  For Brandon’s previous three High School seasons, and prior to that, in Youth Hockey, he was always a Forward.  This year’s team lost four out of our five starting Defensemen.  Brandon was one of our top six Forwards.  He would have surely gotten a lot more offensive points and recognition if he stayed as a Forward but he came to the coaching staff and volunteered to play Defense if it would be the best thing for the team.  The incoming freshman class had plenty of Forwards but only two Defensemen.  Brandon has been rock solid on Defense while serving as a good role model and mentor to our younger Defensemen.  These qualities make Brandon an excellent choice for the Hobey Baker Character Award.
