Steven has shown outstanding character during his 4 years with the teams. He has been a leader from the first moment he stepped on the ice his freshman year. He is the consummate team player, always looking for how he can help the team succeed, whether it’s setting up a teammate for a goal, giving up his own playing time, or playing outside of his natural position. He is one of the most coach-able players I have ever worked with and is always working to be a better player. He has gone out of his way to help other players in varsity practices and by coming to JV practices to work individually with some of the lesser skilled players.
