Luca Mandato was one of the most complete players on the Varsity Ice Hockey team. He was counted on as a leader to guide and motivate his teammates to work harder, play smarter and achieve the common goal of being the best athlete and teammate he could be. Luca was respected by his teammates and was always a positive influence in the locker room and on the ice. His hard work and desire to improve and compete at a higher level each week was motivating to his teammates and led to success for the team on the ice during the season. He was a magnetic presence and exuded the leadership qualities that all athletes should have.
