Jillian is our team captain. She is a quiet leader who lets her actions, on ice, speak to her positive character and commitment to women’s ice hockey. She is a positive influence on the team – always using her hockey knowledge to inform her respectful conversations with coaches and with officials. She takes feedback well, shares her knowledge with her less experience teammates, and encourages them to be successful. She is an effective communicator and demonstrates strong positive sportsmanship even in challenging situations. She will graduate this year from our program and her demeanor and leadership will be greatly missed.
