Connor Foley is a player who is determined to the max whatever he does. Connor is a player that does the necessary things away from the ice to be successful on the ice. Not only is Connor a physically strong athlete, he is an exceptional student who strides for academic success.

During his senior year (this past December), we were playing just our 5th overall game of the season, and we were winning 6-2 in the 3rd period. It was at this point in the game where Connor took an unnecessary hit along the boards, and tore his right UCL. Instead of feeling sorry for himself, Connor took it upon himself and when to PT for 6-7 weeks, and got back on the ice to join his team for the last 3 games of our regular season. Without Connor, we went through a really tough loosing streak. He was sorely missed in our lineup as he plays a hard nosed game that can’t be replicated.

Our coaching staff believes Connor Foley is a player who embodies the Hobey Baker Character Award.
