Since day 1 Konner has lead this team by example. Being away from hockey for over 3 years didn’t seem to affect his work ethic or will to learn. Whenever or whatever the coaches instruct him to do he does to the best of his ability every time. He plays every shift like it’s his last and you can tell on the bench how much that means to his teammates. He never once has acted out towards his teammates or any other opponents. Konner has been a consistent leader and great person to have on this team. I believe he deserves this reward because his effort on the ice was second to none.
