Lucas is a terrific leader on the Forest Hills Central Hockey Team. He has played extremely hard in all of our games and practices. Including the games that haven’t gone our way. I haven’t seen a player this year that is better than Lucas or impacts the game more than Lucas. Lucas also started a leadership group to help our younger players stay focused. He created a pod system with our leaders and had them each pick a group of players they were responsible for. This has been extended to off the ice as well. The younger guys have a support system for grades, rides to rink, and other social items that occur at a high school. It has created a strong team environment. He has been helpful and made my job easier. Lucas is a great young man who I expect to do wonderful things in the future.
