Mason was selected for this award because he never made an A team during youth hockey. But he always wanted to know what he could do to get better and he put in the work. This continued during his high school hockey career. He worked harder in practice than anyone on the team. All his hard work paid off. Mason is a varsity hockey player and one of our captains.

Another example of why he is deserving is before his senior season of hockey started he broke his wrist and didn’t know if he would get to play at all. But he showed up everyday and found a way to lead and set a good example. Luckily Mason was cleared to play in January and is currently back on the ice where he is again our hardest working player.
