Charles was named captain this year and has been a member of the varsity team for three years. Charles brings a positive attitude and work ethic one would expect from a team captain. Charles leads by example and has been the backbone of the defense this season while also adding to the offensive production as a member of the first powerplay unit. Charles accepts constructive criticism from the coaching staff in a positive manner and uses that feedback to better his game.
