Senior who has developed into a leader both on and off the ice. Lauren has a team leading 3.99 GPA and has been an integral part of this years team. She originally began the season as a forward but has transitioned to defense. The transition was not what she wanted but she made the switch with a positive attitude. She has never once complained about not being able to play forward and when she was originally asked to switch she said whatever I can do to help the team. It is the thought behind that statement that has made Lauren our Hobey Baker winner for this season.
