Emily is an ideal example of what the Hobey Baker award stands for; perseverance, dedication, and adaptability. Emily has played a large role on our team ever since her freshman year. She has been adaptable and accepting of multiple position changes throughout her career, always choosing to do what is best for the team. What makes Emily a special player, is that she has had a tremendous amount of success playing both forward and defense in her career. Emily has shown our younger players the correct way to handle adversity, as well as accept change in order to do what is best for the team as a whole to be successful. Emily has also been a great captain this season for our team, quietly showing her teammates how to carry themselves by leading by example. Emily is a tremendous hockey player, but an even better person. Congratulations Emily!
