Ryan exemplifies what it means to be a leader and a role model on and off the ice every single day. He leads by example in practice where he is attentive, hard-working, and is always hungry to receive feedback on his game so that he can improve as a player. He also creates an environment in the locker room where every player feels welcome and is treated like a brother. It has been an absolute pleasure to coach him and I know he will be successful no matter what path he decides to go down after graduating.
