Zach is hardworking, thoughtful, persistent, and confident. His passion for hockey is complemented by the care he demonstrates for his teammates and the thoughtful interaction he has with the coaching staff. Considering these traits, he was unanimously selected by the coaching staff to be the team captain for the 2021-2022 hockey season. Zach has exhibited a high level of conscientiousness as he had embraced this leadership role while maintaining his commitment to academics.

Along with his passion for the sport of hockey, he is consistently making improvements for the betterment of himself and his team. He is resolute in his practice and persistent in his tasks as a player, student, and is the leader of our team. Zach exemplifies character, leadership, integrity, commitment, teamwork, and sportsmanship. He is an easy choice as the Hobey Baker Award winner for the Central Indiana Knights.
