James was a leader and mentor to the young Upper Montgomery Lightning squad. On the ice, James was the leading scorer among defenders over the past two seasons. More importantly, his academic achievement is a trait that the team has promoted to our younger student athletes. His dedication on the ice and work in the community to grow our program are characteristics that further speak to why he was nominated by the Upper Montgomery coaching staff for this award.
