Troy was a player who transferred due to Covid his Junior year. As a Senior he moved back to Hopkins High, filled out his paper work and was denied the ability to play Varsity Hockey. He would have been a captain of our team, lead us in scoring etc. He player an entire JV season and did not complain one bit about his situation. He practiced everyday with his friends on Varsity and did not complain one bit. He helped teammates out in games by grabbing the white board and drawing up plays, showing them how they could improve position and again not one bad word, his attitude would exemplifies this award. I am honored to have been called this young mans coach… and he will continue playing at the next level due to his hard work, and winning attitude. He exemplifies hard work, character, and what this game is about. Family…
