Sydney is one of our captains and a natural leader. She is extremely coachable and works extremely hard every day. Sydney is always there to talk to the underclassman give them rides to games and practices and is always available for them. Academically she has received the highest honors award since grade 7 and has received the outstanding Academic excellence award, Sydney has maintained a 4.34 GPA!! When off the ice Sydney at school is extremely involved in activities such as student council with roles such as class representative, head of publicity for many events and chairperson for countless events., KP cares DECA, Freshman-Junior mentor program, Business National Honor society, National Honor society, History National Honor society. Away from school she is involved in coaching many youth hockey teams as well summer track for younger children. Sydney owns a very successful business called Camp Shakuru which is a summer camp that she hosts up to 40 younger girls. Sydney is respectful, kind, genuine, outgoing and courteous and will do anything for anyone; I have never met a young lady as caring and kind as Sydney.
