Connor is a graduating senior who has dedicated himself to being the best hockey player and best teammate that he could be. He has always demonstrated maturity, responsibility and accountability and pushed his teammates to do the same. At the start of the season, Connor was not a captain. Throughout the year, he began to separate himself as a team leader as well as a role model for our program and also the Weymouth community. About half way through our season, the coaching staff went to school administration and requested that Connor be a captain. They agreed and he wore the C proudly for the remainder of the year. Connor has never complained about his roles on the team, but rather has embraced them and tried to accomplish his objectives at his highest level. His integrity, commitment and the strength of his character is why Connor has been selected to receive this award.
