As one of two senior goalies this season, Jake exemplified all aspects of the Hobey Baker Character Award, as well as representing the Osseo Hockey program in a way that any coach would be proud. Jake repeatedly supported the fact that your team leaders don’t always wear a letter on their jersey, and that team culture is impacted in a positive way from positive leaders. Jake consistently gave back to the game in volunteering his time to help out our youth teams and was always first in line to sign up for team community events. A team first guy who was 100% committed to the process of the season, and knowing that our success this year wasn’t always reflected by wins and losses. Jake was our 1st on the ice, last off guy, and will no doubt leave a positive legacy with our Osseo program, and be a first class addition to another team in the future.
