Will Nelson is extraordinary kid. He is a Senior Assistant captain on our Hockey team, who excels on the ice, in the classroom, and in the community. When I first got the head coaching position this fall, Will was one of the first people to call and welcome me to our new family. Will shows respect, thoughtfulness, and togetherness in our locker room and with our team. He not only is a great leader in the room, he is great outside the in the community, he helps kids in goalie school by working with goalies from all over the area improve themselves, and has recently won a scholarship for being the best Caddie in the metro area. Will to me is the perfect example of what a Hobey Baker would look like today. Selfless, ever improving, and always striving to learn and grow.
