Zak has been a vital part of the team for the last two years not only providing calm, unshaken performance on the ice but also leading our team academically and with his extra-curricular involvement outside of school. His preparation goes unrivaled amongst his teammates as he is most often the first to the rink and the last to leave. His work ethic and commitment to technique shows great examples on how we want future players to prepare and improve. He met with his coaches routinely to talk over situational questions throughout the season to improve his game. While taking honors and AP courses he was offering up tutoring help to his teammates that were struggling with their grades. A great leader, role model, and human for our younger teammates to look upto.
